Summary
With this Championship we can re-live the thrill and heat of the legendary 1970 season with the cars of the era. This time we're not going to reprise the exact races, but more the racing atmosphere of that time.
Needed mods
We race the year '70 models from Bazza's TransAm pack.
Additionally you need VAC TV Van that is used for streaming the races.
The cars will all have identical engine, but the weight and suspension differ to give each car its unique characteristics. Additionally the performance will be balanced by applying restrictor for some of the cars in following way:
| Car | BoP |
|---|---|
| 1970 Ford Mustang Boss | 50 restrictor |
| 1970 AMC Javelin | 30 restrictor |
| 1970 Chevrolet Camaro | 30 restrictor |
| 1970 AAR Plymouth Barracuda | 21 restrictor |
| 1970 Dodge Challenger | - |
| 1970 Pontiac Firebird | - |
There might be slight adjustments in case we find it necessary.
SIC! It is allowed to change car only once during the championship.
Race format
| Practice server | Open all the time during championship | |
| Qualification | 60 min | At 17:00 UTC |
| Race | Generally about 1 hour. See race schedule below for exact format. | At 18:00 UTC |
The weather will be pretty dynamic and conditions may change even during race, so using CSP is mandatory, but there will be no rain, unless the public version of CSP with rainFX support is released during the championship. Also we will use some CSP server options like collisions and no speeding limit on pitlane.
Tyre wear, fuel rate and damage rate are all kept as 100%.
